At the beginning of my blog era (I can’t believe that I forgot to celebrate my blog first anniversary) I wanted to grant Elie Saab an entire post. He is one of my favorite designers. The gowns he designs are always precious and so feminine! Yes, most of the designers create feminine gowns, I know, but Ellie Saab has that something that I always adore, sparkling and tight tailoring or silk and endless flow.
And right about now is the perfect timing and I will start with some inside pics from his 2012-2013 fall/winter show.
I love these pictures taken inside by the models or other fortunate people that may watch so close the show preparations. I am absolutely sure that this will be the perfect job for me… just wait to finish my photographic lesson next week and I’ll be also on the backstage taking photos (a girl can dream, wink).
“Known as one of the most influential and highly regarded designers of our time, Elie Saab was born in Lebanon and began designing evening gowns and wedding dresses in his early years. His eye for detail and his unparalleled craftsmanship attracts a vast audience across the Middle East and internationally.”
Elie Saab has dressed some of the most high-profile and elegant women of our time, with his creations often favoured amongst the Hollywood A-list for red-carpet events. His exquisite and utterly sophisticated pieces are undoubtedly the ultimate in glamour.”
As you can suppose already, I was thrilled to see that Elie Saab chose shadows of green for some of 2012/2013 collection gowns, the particular sparkling and underlining so well the waist gown above is my favorite.
